Please note that ownership to all Intellectual Property Rights in those products, services, content, documentation, ESS name, logo and branding and associated Product branding names and logos which are accessible via the system’s environment are ESS Ltd’s and where appropriate, its licensors. By using this system, you agree that anything you produce within the system’s environment, whether an idea, design or other contribution is the intellectual property of ESS Ltd, Eastwood House, Glebe Road, Chelmsford, Essex. CM1 1QW You may contribute and use this content for collaboration and reference purposes, however, using this system does not grant you with any legal rights in the intellectual property.

Intellectual Property Rights

Intellectual Property Rights means all intellectual and industrial property rights of any type or nature recognised in any jurisdiction in the world, including copyrights, moral rights and other rights associated with works of authorship; trade secrets and know-how; patents, patent rights, and other rights in inventions; trademarks (whether registered or unregistered), trade names, trade dress, service marks, logos, symbols and other source identifiers; and including applications and registrations for, and extensions, continuations, renewals, and re-issuances of any of the foregoing.

Please be advised that you should not input any personal data into this system. The use of this system is not intended to capture, use or store personal data. You must ensure that any submissions do not contain personal data; care must be taken to ensure that personal data is not inadvertently uploaded within screenshots.

What is personal data?

Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that person.

In practice, this means names, contact details, usernames, photographs and any other identifying information that could be captured in one of ESS’s products.
