SIMS ID Tile Store Walkthrough for TIs

This document builds on the advisory note previously published.

The consent process for using integrator applications which use SIMS APIs begins with the integrator creating (or having a tile created) for their product.  The page above will be completed.  Once done, ESS staff will need to make it available for selection by schools from the group of Available Applications.

Clicking on 'Show Details' will either simply show details of the product as below:

Or where this is configured as a partner application it will show similar links plus a GDPR agreement which will enable ESS to record the school's authority and enable the product to connect to the designated APIs.  Once selected, the tile goes to a pending state awaiting the partner from their SIMS ID login to approve the school after completion of any set up required by the partner.

Data access can be revoked by removing the tile.
